The process

Here’s a quick video on how it works and what the matching process looks like.
You can also see the steps laid out below

01

Subscribe

Startup signs up for a subscription plan, and is onboarded onto neonVest

02

Onboarding / Criteria

Startup fills out an supercharger criteria form, outlining the types of superchargers they would like to speak with. This includes type of supercharger(VC or founder), expertise, sector, stage, geography, and business model type, among other criteria. [Optional]: Startup provides whatever materials it wishes to share with the superchargers: pitch deck, financial model, marketing collateral, etc.

03

Internal Matching Process

Startup’s data is automatically pulled by our internal engine and a set of potential supercharger matches is created. neonVest’s operations rep then overlays these recommendations with their own data, to make the perfect match.

04

Warm Introduction

neonVest makes a warm introduction directly to Startup’s email inbox between Startup and Supercharger. Prior to this, neonVest will send any relevant material, as dictated by Startup, to the Supercharger for pre-reading.

05

Scheduling

Supercharger and Startup coordinate a time for a guaranteed conversation. We request that the Startup respond directly to the initial email introduction. The call, meeting, or reasonable alternative is scheduled on the calendar.

06

Feedback and Review

Post conversation, both parties may fill out a feedback form. If completed, the feedback form will then be shared with the relevant party.

Steps 3-6 are repeated one, three, or five times a
month depending on the chosen subscription plan.

If you still have further questions, pick a time on the calendar from a team member where we walk you through the process and answer Q&A.

Think of it like a line item for a monthly subscription, the same way you might use Hubspot, Carta, Chargebee, or Calendly.

We’re flipping the script. There is no application for startups. We’re democratizing access and making it easy and painless to sign up. We vet and interview superchargers to ensure you get the best.
